Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming --WHEW-- What a Ride!!!" -Author unknown

Wahoo!!

I'm getting married!!!!! Not right now however. We are going to wait until John gets back from Iraq. I am so excited. I'll be hijacking my blog to make wedding plans. I already have a general idea. I do want to run everything by John first. He already said I could plan what I wanted but I don't want to be selfish. Well, maybe just a little. He proposed while we were riding Scout and Lilly on his farm on Saturday...completely unexpected. I have pictures that I'll post once I get my hands on them. Updates to come!!!

woo hoo! Now I get that sister I've always wanted!!!
Congradulations Rach we all love you and suppot you. This is a very special time for you and John. If there is anything we can do just let us know we will be a phone call away. I will be praying for your continual groth with each other and Christ. Your Brother, Jimmy Castellow
CONGRATULATIONS! So excited for you two!
Yeah for Rachael and John! Can't wait to see the pictures!
WhooHoo! Congratulations! You are going to be a BEE-YOO-TI-FUL bride! Will the horses be part of an outdoor ceremony?
I'm not sure about the horses part. I'm a little bit scarred from watching america's funniest home videos and the girl getting bucked off.
Never ever put horses or small children in your wedding!! Unless you are trying to win 1 million dollars. I'm so happy for ya'll. You are a perfect match!
I'm so excited!! I hope you wear fairy wings and glitter. John specifically told me he wanted you to. Oozey will be your flower girl if you want. She looks pretty in dresses. Maybe by the time the wedding comes I will be able to eat more than Jello and pudding.
Hannah
Oh my gosh!!! Hannah is alive. Hannah....I've missed you!!!!!!
I think Oozey would be a perfect flower girl! She'll be so sweet sitting next to Frank the ring bearer!
WOOT!! will you be having donuts at your reception? I LOVE Krispy Kreme...
...or rose petal popsicles from Tennessee.
I think I'm going to have to go there this week.
You should come with us...but you had better start driving now. :-)
Congratulations! Hey, we had to hear about this from a call from Tennessee! What's wrong with this picture? We're still waiting to see the ring and hear your story. You know I want to do a PARTY!
Aunt Claudia
Congratulations Rachael! :) We're excited for you. I always read Martha's blogs and some others sometimes and I was reading yours and saw this. :)
ROSE PETAL POPS. I was telling John how good they were the other day. Aunt Claudia I'm coming over. I lost track some time back about who I had told.!!
i agree with whoever said something about krispy kreme.
do they make wedding cakes?
they should.
Oh my gracious! Why am I always the last person to know about these things :-) CONGRATS to both of you, I couldn't be happier for ya. Of course it was inevitable since horses = love (or something like that) ;-)
they just stack the donuts up to look like a cake....add some ribbon and you're done.
congrats on your engagement rachael!
disregard what my mom said in the last comment, it would only be politicly correct to have a donut cake if u lived in a trailer park.
How about a giant nacho bell grande instead of a cake!!! That would be awesome.
rachael, it is "wedding" bells, not "taco" bells...and you would have to invest in a lot of napkins for your guests!
CONGRATULATIONS RACHAEL AND JOHN! I WISH YOU ALL THE VERY BEST AND IF YOU NEED HELP WITH ANY PLANNING PLEASE LET ME KNOW
Thats so exciting!! :D
AHH!
