TULLY

I have a new kitty. No, I'm not kidding. Uncle Tommy saw her get hit in the road last night. She's a wild kitty...like Buzz. Actually, exactly like Buzz. She's going to the vet with Claude to get tested for Feline Leuk. Be back in a second for and update. Off to the vet.

Update: Tully is Feluke negative and also is Claude. However, Claude has a parasite that has to be treated with medication for 10-12 days. So, to those who own his sister who shall not be named...you may want to get her tested for this parasite (Coccidia). It can make them feel pretty bad and keep them from gaining weight. They probably picked it up from the parents. The fun part is keeping Claude from sharing the litter box with other kitties while he's getting better.

Come visit the new kitty. She will give you fleas and run away from you.

In the heeeat of the niiiiight...

www.download-3d-screensavers.com

Well, it's official. Summer starts in exactly....uh, one minute ago. I'm so excited. Beautiful flowers, swimming, picnics, fantastic sunsets, summer rain, heat...bugs....mosquitoes.....termites...... hurricanes.......horrific thunderstorms........and I don't think the AC in the office is working. Ug!! When does fall come again? But, my kitties are cute. They figured out how to get in the house through an old dryer vent on the porch. So much for the whole "they have be outside only" rule. Cole lost a shoe Monday. The farrier comes this afternoon to try to patch him up so I can make the show next weekend. It's going to be a close one. He will be receiving get well cards starting at 1:30 today.

DUMP

kitty in photo not actually the new kitty...but, pretty much is

I have a new kitty. Photo coming soon. No, not Claude. But, a real new kitty. It's what happens when you go into the vet to buy cat food and a man walks in with a little black kitty he found in the road. Someone threw him out of a car. What a meanie. He was so skinny and sad. Now he lives on my porch with Claude. I'm naming him Dump but Martha and my mom call him BJ for Boo Junior. Can't wait for everyone to meet him!!!

An Ode to Chase

In case everyone hasn't heard, Chase passed away last week. We were all very sad. No longer can we compare other fat things to my 21 pound cat. Every diet on earth was unsuccessful for him. I'm pretty sure he was eating small animals and sports cars when I wasn't looking. I guess when it's your time...it's your time (being a 21lb cat who's 14ish years old doesn't help). We will miss you Chase. The yard isn't the same without you.

Roads go ever ever on,
Over rock and under tree,
By caves where never sun has shone,
By streams that never find the sea;
Over snow by winter sown,
And through the merry flowers of June,
Over grass and over stone,
And under mountains in the moon.

Roads go ever ever on
Under cloud and under star,
Yet feet that wandering have gone
Turn at last to home afar.
Eyes that fire and sword have seen
And horror in the halls of stone
Look at last on meadows green
And trees and hills they long have knows.
