Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming --WHEW-- What a Ride!!!"

Out of Cat Food
"Due to current financial restraints, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice."
I suspect Chase can survive for a few weeks without food. Heck, he'd probably make it about a year or so.
My favorite thing about Chase used to be the phenomenon that after a while he'd get so fat that he couldn't jump up to the platform where the food was, and he'd slim down for a while. Then, he'd get skinny enough to make the jump, and proceed to engorge himself. I think he repeated the process every couple of months.
BTW, if you're out of cat food, what are the slugs eating?

My mom saved the day. And they ate a quiche I left out the other day.

The slugs haven't been around lately. Not sure what the deal is. And...Chase is on diet food now. Not that it helps.
